With over 300 arbitration cases under his belt, spanning a wide array of sectors including commercial, construction, employment, insurance, and international disputes, Richard brings a wealth of experience and insight to every case. Notably, he served as the Arbitration Tribunal Chairman for the landmark Lance Armstrong and Tailwind Sports, Inc. v. SCA Promotions, Inc. case, where his decisive award made headlines globally.

Richard's expertise extends beyond the arbitration room. As a seasoned Professor of Alternative Dispute Resolution Law, he has educated and mentored aspiring legal professionals in the U.S., U.K., Kingdom of Jordan, and Kingdom of Malaysia. His contributions to the field are evident in his role as a Contributing Author to the ABA handbook on arbitration, as well as his numerous articles on arbitration, mediation, and arbitration.

Currently, Richard serves as the principal attorney for Faulkner ADR Law and Of Counsel for Bennett Legal in Dallas, Texas, where he continues to provide unparalleled legal counsel and representation. Renowned for his expertise, he has been appointed as a deputy special master and mediator by multiple Federal District Courts and Texas courts, showcasing his trusted reputation in the legal community.
